Hello, great to have found this forum.... Lot's of info for me to read up on.
I want to replace only the faceplate on my kyocera se47. (indigo blue)
I've read some of the info and "how to", but it seems more directed at replacing the entire housing.
Would really appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.
I see that there are 2 small Phillips screws behind the faceplate.
Do I need to take those off then slowly separate the face plat with a flat tool.
I also read somewhere that I should heat the faceplate in order for the glue to soften up as well ?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thats because you put a faceplate on the phone the same way you put a housing on the phone. The only difference is you only replace the front and keep the rest OEM. Cheeck out my thread called TUTORIALS: SLIDER (it would be more helpful if it was a sticky, then there would be a lot less useless threads clogging up the forum) If you have any other problems PLEASE POST IN THAT THREAD!

in order to remove the front faceplate, you must remove the whole housing
the screws that hold the track are under the main PCB so you have to disassemble the whole thing

Thanks for the feedback and I will post in THAT THREAD if I encounter any road blocks.
