Here I was thinking that I couldnt put ringtones on my SK2 but today at work I did. I have service with Suncom if that matters any. But all I did was convert a song into wav format, and then chopped a good 20 sec of the section of the song I wanted. Then i emailed it to myself and it worked!!!
I might be late on this but I was under the impression that ringtones couldnt get on SK2 unless you pay for those crappy ones under the catalog. Well if anyone needs any help putting some on their phone feel free to im me.

I remember I used to do that for my sprint fone before there was free ringtones and such and i remember i went to a site that had programs and like tutorial for it but i forgot what it was. do u know? like what program to convert and stuff?
EDIT: okay, nevermind, i found the website but its for sprint though. And it only converts it to .qcp. lol. nevermind. so how do u do that then? especially for tmobile. since there's like no uploader for t-mobile. =/

yeah, you cant save it as a ringtone, you can only hear it in your email. There is no option(atleast not on the Tmobile SK2.)

This is because you are on Suncom, which allows you to save and set as ringtone for .wavs that you receive through your email box.
Too bad T-mobile decided to slave all their sidekick owners, and make them choose through their weaksauce ringtone catalogue. I could understand if it were updated to match that of the top ten in each category, but its not and its usually just a 10sec loop of the same bull**** part of the song.
