This is going to sound pretty stupid but.. here goes.
Is there any hope of salvaging an se47 slider that has fell inside salt water? To preclude the questions on how a slider ever ended up in salt water: I was canoeing and did not take it out of my pocket, and my canoe capsized.
I left the phone to dry for a couple days but the display and battery are still malfunctioning.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I hate to say it but I think you're SOL. Let it dry out a bit longer and see if that changes anything. Other then that I'd suggest you start looking for a new phone. Sorry to hear about that.

isopropyl alcohol for the main board (submerge it for 20 min) and then use a toothbrush. I wouldnt do it with the LCD though I would just use a wet toothbrush (from the alcohol). run it under water for about 3 seconds (main board) then use a blow dryer to dry it. This removes corrosion (which can cause it to ethere not power up or act strange), but if a component on the board got fried, ur out of luck. If you didnt want to do it urself I can do it, I can also sell you a lcd or main board but if there both bad it would be better to buy a new one (I also have these in stock)
