if i buy a data cable for my vx8000 without the software/drivers, can i get them from somewhere else? more importantly, what exactly do i need in terms of software and drivers?

you'll need a driver to have your PC recognize your cable and see your cell phone. Bitpim program will be able to do most

so, i should look for a cable with the driver provided? or can i get the driver from another source?
