Has anyone tried using Qpst or bitpim on an lg 5400 or a vi5225? From what I can tell, the 5400 is the Canadian version on Bell Mobility's network. The vi5225 is on Sprint in the US. Qpst could recognize the phone, but could not get into it. It says the spc is incorrect. As far as I knew, Bell Mobility did not use an SPC. Does anyone know how to find out the SPC on these phones?

I couldn't get bitpim to recognize the phone at all. I went through everything I could to get bitpim to detect it but no luck.

It won'r "detect" it, but you can read and write to the file system (CAREFUL)

You have to set the phone type as "Other CDMA phone"

Be sure to enable the filesystem view in View->View filesystem

You should be able to see the phone filesystem under the Filesystem tab

then click on the box to expand the folders

and if you want to overwrite anything you have to, in edit settings, unset the "block writing anything to the phone".. then close and re-start bitpim...

You can change one of the wallpapers, see:

Okay, I've gotten bitpim to register the phone as other cdma phone, but if I try the get phone info function, it can't get the info. Also, if I try to write to the phone, nothing happens.
