i just saw an add at my local cingular store for an hp ipaq xxxx that looks like a treo. any more info on this?

If the 6500 is at all like the 6315 in terms of quality, reliability and stability then Cingular and its customers should avoid it like the plague. Just my opinion.

Everything I've read about it in the current reviews says it is NOTHING like 6315 in terms of reliability and stability.

I know when it comes out I will be trying it out on a new line of service, I need a business phone and line so hopefull it will work out to my likeing.

I may try it out as well. I like the m500 I currently carry but the ability to have gps, edge, and minisd wifi in one unit is so tempting. I could take or leave the keyboard. I just wish they had done 320x320 rather than 240x240. I am getting that new phone with new technology is available itch again...

David Ciccone at davesipaq.com has posted a news item regarding Tuesday, Oct. 18, which most likely means the HP hw6515 will be on sale then. He does not come out directly and say it, but that, in my opinion, is the clear intention of the news post. He says get in line at the Cingular store. He is a very conservative guy and does not like speculation, plus he is an Ipaq evangelist, so between not posting speculation and his site geared towards Ipaq, one has to assume that it is the 6515 he is talking about. I do not see anyway it could be the 6700 series since HP has said they want to get rid of the inventory of the 6515 before releasing the 6700. Here is the link:
