help! i dont have tmobile and i have no email, web, aol on my sk2. i hear that they lock stuff like this down, but idk. what i need to do is change my Gateway Proxy Settings, but cant find where they are hidden. anyone have any idea how to do this on sk2? or any tips on who to call.

Changing a setting won't help you. You need to be on a carrier that supports the hiptop/sidekick and you need to have the hiptop/sidekick data plan on your account.

It's not just a matter of changing a setting or two - the device connects to the network is a completyely different way that normal phones, there's nothing you can set on the device itself that will change that.
