Ever Since The Cingular Blue 650 Update, my Treo Restarts whenever I hotsync.

Well, ever since I did the Cingular Blue 650 update, everytime I do a hotsync, my Treo restarts when the hotsync finishes...

Does anyone else have this prob?

Cingular Orange Treo 650 user here and I have the same problem. I use bluetooth to hotsync and I get it about 1/2 of the time...I thought it was because I was hitting the hot sync button too quickly after the hotsync program loaded but apparently i'm not the only one.

I use both the cable and BT to hotsync and my Treo restarts after each hotsync. I don't even think it fully finishes the hotsync with BT either...

I've been having a LOT of restart issues. However, I recently cleared up A LOT of space (7MB) on the internal phone memory and it's been a lot more stable. Maybe PalmOS can't handle running low on memory? I'm new to PalmOS...

After the Cingular update, my Treo 650 restarts nearly every time I press the far right button (the red one that turns the PDA off). It also occasionally restarts at other times. Any suggestions? How can I go back to the old firmware? Does anyone know where I can get the files?

I'm not having any of those problems on mine (Unlocked Cingular Orange) with the update, in fact, it's more stable than ever. I wonder if when you did a restore, some bit of data that was corrupt got put back into the phone. You might want to do a hard reset, than reinstall the applications one by one, I know it's a pain, but it will make sure the bad doesn't come back in

I've been trying to avoid that. What is odd to me is that my Treo was perfectly stable prior to installing the update. I should have left well enough alone.

I did a hard reset and mine still restarts on hotsync. I cant take this much more. What a P>I>T>A!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just fixed it. Reinstalled bluetooth,palm desktop and now it works fine. Kinda weird. Maybe just lucky.

Can the treo 650 automatically sync with the computer whenever the device is in the BT range, kinda like what Nokia PC suite can do with the 6620?

Does anyone else's Treo just randomly do a soft reset at random times throughout the day/night? I often times hear it go off/on whenever i'm NOT on it. It has never done it during a call (thankfully)...

I've been debating whether or not I want to go back to shadowmite's custom 1.28/1.13 w/o Real, Versamail, Tutorial and all languages except English....any thoughts/feedback...

LGF, what do you think?
