5135 Issues

Hi, recently, I purchased a Kyocera 5135 from ALLTEL. The day after I purchased it, the arrow key buttons stopped working (it was physically not working; stuck or something). I took the phone back, and they "fixed it". The button was no longer sticking and working fine.

The next day, I used my phone twice. About 10 minutes after I had last used my phone, I flipped it open to see the time, and the display was completely GONE. The blue light came on, but there was no text (battery meter, signal, etc). I turned it off many times, took the battery out, many times, and finally took it back and traded it up for a Motorola v60i.

Does anyone else know of this type of issue with the 5135 series?

It's probably just the unit you got...i've had mine for over a month, and my only problems are firmware related...no defective buttons/screen.
