8390 flashing keypad problem

I've been having a problem with my flashing keypad lately, it flashes sometiems even when the phone isn't on, and when i make calls, it flashes for the start of the call, and even though it should keep flashing 'till the end of the call, it doesn't, can anybody help me or did i just waste $60

yes.. that's a great suggestion and all, however, if I knew how to fix it, I wouldn't have started this thread, thx newayz though genius
