Rather slick - application launcher and dashboard for upcoming appointments and tasks, messages and missed calls.

Support -> P910a -> Downloads to navigate there yourself.

This software also works with P900.

I had that installed, but ended up going with Handy Day 2005 Pro, since I can also diaply weather and news RSS feeds as well as more plugins. And it looks alot like Pocket PC today screen which I am used to.

Agreed that HandyDay is arguably better - I own that application as well.

I do like how Desktop shows you the waiting messages better, though, and HandyDay doesn't have a great Tasks view unless they're dated items due "today".
I never have timed tasks - making it kind of pointless.

Just installed it, I like it quite a bit. I have not used Handy Day, but it's hard to beat free!

Sometimes its just worth it to pay for a program that really does what you want it to! Handay Day has several desktops (up to 4 I think) where you can display any number of included plugins. Some of them are: weather (u can set to automatically update), News feed RSS (can auto update), messages, tasks, date, time, appointments, mini launcher *(any number of instances all seperately configurable), control panel, alarms, world time, it's just a great prog, that is fully skinnable and most skins come with matching UIQ themes. It WAY beat out SE desktop for me.

I have both programs installed. To me they complement each other very nicely.

I use the desktop a lot when I need a quick glance. When I have more time to actually dig in and look for something or read news etc etc I use Handy Day.

I couldn't live without either app.
