Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7510/4.0.0 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3)

Try type the url in manually by using "Go To". Don't just click the link above. It should then download fine.

Great program. Thanks for sharing!

when you run the program you can hit the "a" key to zoom to a default location. have you tried this, what happens?

Shouldnt need a program. I use mapquest and it works fine - see http://www.uk8.biz/Picture014_17Aug05.jpg

Oh and apologies for pic, need I mention thats a Treo quality camera?!!

Yeah i tired mapquest this morning to see how it works. It's alright, but it's more difficult to pan around. I think the HelloWorld App is a bit more user friendly. have you tried it?

Looks like its trying to dl the images, but instead of red x's I get a bunch of "no image" areas. Its consistent when I scroll up/down and left/right.

must be some sort of connectivity issue...

I got

"HTTP Error 400: Bad Request

The server could not understand the page request or was unable to process it for some reason. Please try loading a different page"

No, dont really need it, but I will have a look.

I just use standard mapquest and use driving directions to ensure I get not just a specific town/city, but vilages etc around it. Then I go into select mode, save the image and access it via pictures whenever i need it.

HelloWorld Browser 2.0.5 has been released, use Google Maps on your Blackberry

- you can now search for directions
- read written directions and zoom to any interesection
- minor bug fixes

Check it out at www.freek.ca for some new screenshots.

I'm getting a IOException Bad DNS address.

I'm on Telus, no BES, and no problem with other web apps.
