I was looking into buying a blackberry, new or used, and I just wanted to ask you guys a few Q's. btw...I live in Canada (if that helps)

Can a blackberry be unlocked ?

Who are the current service providers for blackberries ?

How much does the monthly payment average too ($40.00/month) ?

I think its www.bogowireless.com, it will run you about $100 to unlock. Also if you are looking to unlock I would look at GSM devices.

I am familiar with GSM models...I usually buy unlocked GSM cells and hook em up with the provider of my choice

Do you know anybody who is selling one for cheap, or where I can buy one for cheap ?

What model would you recommend...

You might want to pick a carrier first. I mean, the 7250 is CDMA and the 7100g is GSM.

I'm already with Fido...so I thought I'd go for the GSM model...
