I'm assuming you are ordering a new sim tray because your phone is turning off becuase the sim is actually losing contact with phone. They really built a weak sim tray.

Anyway if that is why - I just had the same problem - Palm is sending me a new sim tray in the mail.

I found a temporary solution though on the net. If I could remember the link I would post it.....
The fix is to take two postit notes stick them together.
trace out the sim card to on the post it notes
cut it with sissors.
then stick the postit notes onto the front of the SIM card (where it says the Carriers name)
Put it back in your old SIM cage.
The pressure that is created because of the postit notes will keep you SIM in contact with the phone.

Its working great for me so far.

order on friday was shipped on saturday and recieved in today(tuesday) dhl sig. req.

replaced the sim tray and have tried to jolt and bump and push the phone and not single reset since. looks like were good to go, thanks Palm!!
