I never really used my phone had it just sitting around most of the time, cause I didnt unlocked it. Its only been sitting for a month at most. So whenever I plug in my cable it drops the connection is this bad? Bluetooth still works. I left my mmc reader at work, I took my minisd today w/ me and I want to get my presentation out of it so I can work on it. Can't access minisd through bluetooth =/

phone still charges but no active sync but i sent my file to my phone n then used bluetooth n got my presentation out of there

the problem isn't the install. The problems is with the connection on the bottom of your phone. I just recently started suffering this and I have two PC's I sync with: one at home, one at work. Two different cables. Mine does that in both locations and it started in both locations all at once.

My PPC still syncs fine at both locations.

Because of this, I won't buy a phone that doesn't have a mini USB connector on it anymore.

no it isnt, its my computer lol I know it cause I just installed the software on my brothers computer and it works perfectly fine. I don't use this phone much because I dont have service since I haven't unlocked it yet. I was on activesync and then my computer crashed because I had too many apps opened.

The problem is i deleted my mobile devices from the list

The connector on the 220 sucks, I am getting dropped all the time. Sometime when I leave it to charge over night, it stops, that is so annoying. Like the person said above, mini usb from now on.

I notice this occasionally when my phone reaches a fully charged state. It provides a notification on the screen of the charge and disconnects activesync. I unplug and replug in the phone and it works fine. Not sure if this is the same thing or not. I bought a dock for my phone as I do not like the USB connector. I think that it is much easier to connect and detach compared to the USB cable. You may want to consider this as well.

I use the Motorola v60 cradle and I love it, works great when I want to do a USB activesync connection.
