Hi, I am ready to buy a treo 650. This may have been asked before (my search button is gone again), but how is the ringtone volume. Is it decently loud enough that you can hear it in a crowded room??

I have a troe, but i also have volumecare and that two combination is perfect. In fact if you are not careful it will blow out your ear drums....

I've heard that, but I'm not talking about earpiece volume. I'm wondering about the ringing volume of the phone.

Thanks a bunch. If you don't mind me asking, do you like your treo?? I'm gonna get one now anyway, but I'm just curious.

Most of the MIDI files that came with the Treo are a little too soft for me. http://mididb.com has both loud ones and quiet ones.

I have a Cingular 650 and personally I can only set my ringer volume to max 2/3 out of like 8 bars, otherwise its obnoxiously loud and I find the speaker to sound like its vibrating.

The ear piece volume could be better bet its workable. I do not use any applications to handle volumes either.

Cheers!
