New to BB , what is the best 3rd party software that will allow me to keep passwords, id's, securely. I've had E wallet on my Treo & PPC's, not sure about what to get for BB.

I find the built in utility on the BB to work well for me but a co-worker really likes CryptMagic: http://www.handango.com/PlatformPro...roductId=120919 Haven't tried it but I've heard good thing about it, they do offer a trial as well so you can give it a go before you purchase.

CryptMagic is great, IMO. The software now has a PC addition that syncs your handheld with the program on the pc so your passwords are not only on one or the other.

Problem with the built-in password application is that I can find no way to restore the DATA ONLY after a system crash...it seems you have to restore your entire handheld.

I use two free programs, one is the built in Password Keeper, the other is called Data Vault, this is more than a password keeper program and it itself is password protected, but it is great for keeping all sort of information handy like credit card info in case your wallet is stolen to report them, etc. Here is the link: http://www.handango.com/PlatformPro...164739&R=164739 If for some reason the link does not work, just go to Handango, and do a search for Data Vault.
