Motorola Mobile Phone Tools Conversion Question

i just recently purchased the V180 and i'm trying to put ringtones on it through of course, motorola mobile phone tools, and i am in melody studio and i tried to transfer the ringtones and it says "unsupported format-no conversion possible"
its an mp3 thats 22050 hz, 16 bit mono thats 18.83 seconds long. thanks in advance

are your mp3s constant bit rate or variable bit rate?? they should be constant and no more than 192kbps

Try P2KTools to transfer the ringtones; you won't loose some of the audio intelligence that MPT can do if the bitrate is too high.
