I searched the forum for this but found nothing. I just bought a Blackberry on eBay (its a RIM 7290) but its password protected and I cant unlock it. Is there anyway to remove the password, I dont care if it removes everything. I also don't know if there is a master reset anywhere on it. I hope someone can help.

It also came with no book, no accessories, just the blackberry, thats it.

All you can do in that case is enter the password incorrectly 10 times, at which point it will wipe the handheld data and applications. You will need to reinstall the handheld software to get it working again.

It's really probably not a bad idea to do that when getting a used bb anyways.
