RAZR earpiece problem?

I just discovered that my RAZR gets static and i lose words on my end, when the person i'm talking to hears me perfectly. Granted, this is in a low signal area...but the difference between what they hear and what I hear is considerable.
Does anyone else have this problem?
(I think I'm going to bring it back to Fry's to get replaced...I hope they have more in stock.)

Naw, it's the signal. that happens for some reason. They can hear me, but I can't hear them. I don't know why, I can't explain it, but it does happen and it's not the phone's fault.
