Well my fronts blew.. and decided to goto futureshop and got a pair of JVC 6.5 2 way speakers.. heres the link

Had the sales rep play them at the store.. seem pretty good and clear... going to install them right now... i guess be back in a couple hours and i will tell ya how they are...

well installed them.. the right speak sounds wicked.. very clear and crisp.. left side sounds distorted and very unclear... i tried both speakers on left side and same result... i have a feeling its some wiring or maybe the deck is not done properly? any suggestions?

Well, I have similar JVC's. I think i have the older ones of these JVC's. They don't handle a lot of bass, so if that's what your trying to accomplish with these, don't try it. It could be the your deck, or its just that your closer to the left speaker so your hear more distortion.

I'd advise just to use these speakers for high frequency sounds. I have my high pass filter set to 160K on these speakers. Which means only frenquencies that are 160K or higher will come out of these speakers.

I remember when I first installed these, I thought my stock speakers sounded better. My stock speakers put out more low freq. sounds, and these put out high freq. sounds.
