Nokia > *

You must of had a bad v3 because I've heard they are supposed to have good rf.

Which is the case for every 3 out of 5 Moto phone...which again equates to:

Nokia > *

I think they may have good RF, but if its anything like my V505 vs. my 6010, the 6010 just works better - less garble (better handoffs).

No, pretty much all moto's do suck but the v3 supposedly bucked the trend.

Heh. Its the fact that the 6800 has no 850 band so he is constantly on 1900 in NYC on T-Mobile, instead of 850 on ATTWS.

Nope, the 6800 does indeed have 850 support:

Wait til you get to a spot you use to have coverage as a result of 850 and you will be up the creek without a paddle. Enjoy the 1900 only phone, but when you expect coverage and don't have it don't post here. I dont mean to sound like a prick, and I hope 1900 is ubiquitous in NYC, but you may have made a mistake.

Ok, I take back all I said. Moto sucks. The end .

Go symbian

Posted by: The Mac Ace

symbian = wtfpwnage

Posted by: ncvaco

The 6800 does indeed have 850 as stated above, and does not use Symbian. It is a Series 40 UI.

I realize this, but I wanted to just throw in my 2 cents and suggest that he go symbian, over s.40.

Nokias are the best phones by far. I can't wait to go back to a Nokia.

Blame Cingular for that issue...

in my area my nokia 6620 did alot for reception along fringe areas, over the S710a that i had and times a million over the T610 that i had, not only in holding the signal but in how quick it got the signal back again after it was lost.

Posted by: what_up

6800 has better reception than V3? Are you kidding me? Anybody like to exchange a V3 for a 6800 plus 50 dollars? I have a brand new 6800(unlocked). I don't use it. Please exchange it with me. I already have a V3(not unlocked). Awesome reception, I would like to give the other V3 to my wife who uses a V180.
