I'm sure this has been asked tons of times before and I'm sorry, but do I need to manually enter the Tmobile settings in my Treo 650 for the internet? In preferences it says that my network is Tmobile internet (and it is also locked). Does that mean that my internet is up and running?

If you use a T-Mobile SIM card in a Treo, T-Mobile will enter the settings automatically over the air. There should be three network choices: T-Mobile Internet, T-Mobile VPN, and T-Mobile T-Zones. Which one you use depends on which plan you have. All T-Mobile settings are locked. The best way to test it is just open the browser and see if the home page pops up.

You use the option you're paying for—regular postpaid is Internet, prepaid and the postpaid T-zones packages are T-zones, and VPN is for people who sign up for corporate network connection. TMO has a habit of assigning people to the wrong service, however, not the one they're paying for. Use whichever one works.
