easy way: no carrier banner V600

1. Make sure you've P2Kman and Motorola Tools
2. Using P2Ktools, download seem 0032_0001
3. Using Motorola Tools press "0032_0001" then find and select that seem
4. Go into 'tools' > 'modify bit settings
5. Type in "4b" then seek
6. Click bit 6 (leave the rest clicked)
7. On the main page, under misc, click "provider tag"
8. Save the seem
9. Upload it back onto the phone
10. Restart the phone

Great Job man, it fixed a problem of mines. I tried doing it another way and it just wouldn't work, i kept getting that @_ symbol with any other method but this method worked wonders, thanks man.

P.S. It wasn't working properly with the i398 version but with this method it works perfectly.

What is this carrier banner actually?

this disables the ablilty to change your joystick butons and makes the phonebook for up and down and volume for left and right. i does get rid of the operator logo but with other results.
