i heard someone GOT WIFI workin on their treo 650? does it work smoothly? any side effects? is it stable?

Maybe with the WiFi card, soon a Wifi sled will be out and it will work well.

The Wifi sled is out and the Wifi card will need you to sacrifice GPRS/EDGE. Other than that the Wifi card will work with Shadowmite's hack.

Wrong, it doesn't work properly. It's unstable and crashes the treo. No one has successfully gotten it to work.

Are you sure the Wifi Sled is out? Im on the pre-order list...

Also, the Wifi card would only be good if it had some built in memory like say 256MB...

EDIT: Nevermind, very sorry - it is the Treo 600 Wifi Sled, which was out in June. Treo 650 Wifi Sled I'm still not sure but I heard it was out...

It was actually scheduled for February, then April/May, but havent heard from them since. Thats why I thought it was out in the first place.
