warranty exchange thru Cingular ?

i have had my razr for 8 months now and lately i have been getting the white screen lockups and bluetooth sw not available...

the keypad smells like rubber burning as soon as u open the phone.

so i call cingular just see what they say or point me in the right direction...i was expecting them to send me to motorola.....well they are sending out a replacement (blk) under warrty.

my question is do they send u a new one or a refurbished one ?

It's up to their discretion..but i think warranty repair is almost always refurb.

is the only way to tell on the call timer ?
