Have anyone bought a phone outright from cingular then returned it?

Will they give you any grief?

i returned a phone that was shipped. there was no problem with the refund. it just took probably 1-2 weeks after they received it before refunding the amount. if you return it by shipping it back, just make sure you track where your phone's at.

I have seen people returning their phone that were bought thru the Cingular webpage to the store.. No issues there, and if you bought yourphone at a different Cingular store, you should have no problems at all either.

i tried returning it to the store too, but they refused to take it back.

they said i had to return it the way i got the phone, which was through shipping.

Remember, if you bought through the internet, it has to go back to the address it was shipped from. The store cannot accept the phone. Same thing if you bought it at Best Buy and tried to return to a Cingular retail location.

They have a 30 day no grief policy to the point of sale.
