I have searched around on how to display the date on the main display on the v188. I poked around all through the phone menu and tried the date-always seem edit (both the download from here and manualy changing the seem), but to no success. It will only show the carrier (T Mobile) on the 1st line, but no date anywhere.

All of the other seem edits that I have done have worked, (ie. unlocking vibrate detail options, changing extertnal lcd display, etc.)

Have I missed something somewhere or can it just not be done?

Also is there a way to remove or change the carrier name that is displays?

I also believe that the v188 does not support skins, as there is no skins folder.

Could really use a response to this if anyone knows....It would be most helpful to have the date displayed on the screen.
