Not sure which one to get her. Which GD model is the most recent. She needs it to be unlocked and is currently with AT&T and will travel to Sweden next month. Thanks in advance!

Latest GD series is G70, however, it's heavier and bulkier than the G51e. The second latest GD series is the G51E, which is similar in size to GD55. However, hands down, the smallest is the GD55.

Me and my girlfriend are making the move up to the VS series though, thin Panasonic flip phones with the most advanced screens on the market and 1.3 megapixel cameras.

I sent you a PM, it should interest you.

to be honest, i wouldn't recommend a ps-phone (...) - for a simple reason: the design isn't as good (except vs3 then!) as some of sonyericsson's or nokia's phones. the se w600 is nice and so is the k600.

but sure, the ps vs3 is great and my favourite phone all categories. too bad it don't have bluetooth.

The G-51 keys seem impossible at first, then your fingers figure out the technique. I never even think about how small they are anymore. My biggest complaint about the G-51 is you can't see the screen when the backlight is off.

Look at the A-100, too. It's only 1 mm thicker and wider than the GD-55.

The GD-55 is only CSD for web browsing so many not be usable for that, and the A-100 does not have a browser. Only the G-51 does GPRS.

What I wonder is will you be able to use a 900/1800/1900 MHz phone on AT&T (presumably Cingular)? Cingular around here is 850 MHz.
