SMT5600 and Yahoo Music Engine Problems

has anyone tried this yet? I set up for the unlimited downloads. when i tried to transfer music, it tells me that:

"the track(s) below could not be transferred to your portable device:

Device transfer license not found: 05-0 - Bush - Comedown.wma

This could be a licensing error. You may be able to resolve it by relicencing the tracks: Go to My Music, right-click the track, select "Relicense Track," then try transferring again.

Would you like to find out more about device transfer errors and possible solutions?"

I did both and couldn't resolve.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

do i need to do anything to the phone to allow it to transfer? trying to transfer directly to the mini sd card which is recognized.

I use Y! Unlimited ($6.99/month) with my 5600.
When you click on My Music, does it show the song type as 'Subscription'? It needs to say that to be able to be played by your phone.
I just downloaded and transferred this song to my 5600 (dragged and dropped to 'Storage Card' under 'Portable Devices' and it played fine.

No. Do you have a mini SD card to install on? Does the Yahoo Music Engine see your phone?

There have been a few times that for some reason or another, my subscriptions didn't update and I could not get them to work for any reason. I completely deleted the songs from my library and my computer and redownloaded and everything worked then.

Also, have you transferred this song to any other devices? Yahoo has a limit of 2 transfers per song. You need to delete it and redownload it if that's the case.

I had a similar problem in the past. I emailed Yahoo tech support and they said to load IE and clear my cookies and cache, then delete the content from the PC and download again. It worked.

I get about a minute per song too. It's much slower than USB 1.0 should be. I'd like to know where all that overhead is going. It takes a REALLY long time to fill up my 1 gb miniSD card. I noticed a little speed increase once I upgraded to Windows Mobile 5 and ActiveSync 4. I guess we'll need to wait for the Audiovox phone based on the HTC Tornado before we get the benefits of USB 2.0.

hey all, just figured out the answer to my own problem and i thought i would share. under the yahoo music unlimited help section there is a download for an update to a windows media player hotfix. once you download it you have to reformat your player. it double my transfer times. still kinda slow but a big improvment!
