sorry in advance, but i have never tried to mod a phone before and i would like to try. I just got a moto E815 and relaized it has a memory card slot. I have been doing research her trying to fig out how to make ringtones but most of which is going right over my head. I cant understand the terminology in most of the "ringtones for dummies" type papes i find here. i have a blue tooth headset, not sure how to get songs from my comp to the phone but i would think that would do it somehow. so here are a few question that maybe someone can answer.
1. how do i connect my phone to my comptuer with bt headset?
2. how to make ringtones on comp.
3. is a 256mb card for my phone the biggest i can put in it( thats all i have found online) and is it even worth it. could i put full songs on my phone and listen through a set of earphone i plug in to the phone?
4. anything else u can thing of that would help me would be great

again sorry for possibly repeating the same questions asked. I just cant see to figure out how to do some thing. Well hopefully somone can helpbut for now ill keep looking for the answers, thanks

ok i am sort figuring the ringtones out. i found this page http://www.ninetoez.com/moto/maketones.html . I made the ring but now i an trying to compress it to mp3. The program suggested to use on that page is RazorLame. I click to download but all i get is a file that has to be opened in Win zip and then its just a bunch of little file but no actuall program. what am i doing wrong. If i figure that out and i can compress the file then what? How do i get that to my phone?

its been suggested (for ringtones) to simply go on walmart.com or something, they have simple 30 second clips you can save as (and move it into ur transflash file) and there ya go! a ringtone! (same to with movies but u need to convert them, and some forum members have been kind enough to post their already converted movies)

good idea. well i figured out how to make the ringtone. Its on my computer but how do i get it to my E815? There was no usb cord that came with the phone, i do have a BT headset but not sure f that can do it. how do i put it on my phone?
