It shouldn't, mine never does, unless I delete it off the server then it will delete it read or not.

It must download it from the server then delete it from the server, so when it checks for new mail it reflects those changes on your phone.....you will have to change you email settings, not on the phone but where you check your mail on the computer.

I use Gmail and it doesn't delete anything from there.

Its possible that outlook is set to display only the last 24 hours of email. check the settings

OK I thought it fixed itself because nothing was getting deleted but I guess I was wrong. It seems like it doesn't delete anything if the email is from the same person. So lets say I was talking to someone named John and we had 10 emails goin back and forth. All of them would still be there. Then if someone else emails me, then all of my other emails will get deleted.
