I recently switched cell phones because mine wouldnt come on right. I have 2 SE44 phones and i am useing U.S. Cellular on the phone that dont work right. So i went to ebay and bought another 1 that worked but it wasnt a U.S. Cell phone. So i take it and have it switched and the guys tell me since it wasnt a USCC phone that they cant make it not have Digital Roam on it even when i am local and the signal sucks in roam. Can someone please tell me how to change the phone so it doesnt say its in roaming all the time??

it has to be flashed for usc.i dont think that you can get a usc tect to do it good luck.

can it be done at home? or does the tech have to do it?

Posted by: jrjorin

i read that uscc doesnt flash phones anymore is that true?

i spoke with the uscc tech today and he told me he thought that changeing the PRL?
would fix my problem does that sound right to anyone?

I think changing PRL can fix your phone. But I have no idea where you can find a right PRL.
