I was browsing around trying to get some info on this Japanese mail thing,
and I came across this on the Sony Ericsson forum:

One person said that they were able to send and recieve Japanese e-mails using this software. I downloaded it, but it seems like it cannot connect to anything I put in.
Because i still have the Original JP 902SH firmware, i can still type japanese, but i can't use the e-mail client because its locked to Vodaphone SIM. But if this works, I should have no problem sending/recieveing e-mails.

Has anyone tried this software? Reqwireless EmailViewer?

I downloaded it too and so far couldn't make it work. I also downloaded another e-mail app and the webviewer and same result. Reading across their faqs, I'm thinking it as something to do with the preset configuration of the internet access from the phone... Lately haven't been in the mood to do another try, so I'm in standby... Maybe you can work it out and give me a hand later on ;-)

Yeah, i downloaded that version too, the on on that midlet.org websie is Version 2.3, I keep getting "unknown server response" error.

The latest is 4.0. Its impossible to find however...

I played with Reqwireless back in 2003 when I had my 6610, and I know that Reqwireless back then worked by connecting through their servers to your mail server, and transmitting email through them to your phone. So the older versions might have trouble working at all because of that.

I don't know about current versions though.
