How can i get the outer lcd on my V600 to display the motorola logo as in this picture?

i know it is through seem editing and i have changed the text already but was wondering how to get the logo on there.

offset 27 (01 for custom outer text stored in seems 0061/0062, 02 for Motorola icon)

The quickest way I've found is to use the p2ktools program.
Just start up p2ktools and connect to the phone in p2k mode, click Tools>External LCD, then click the Read or Get button*, (Your current LCD text should appear), then uncheck the enabled external lcd text when flip is open box then click the Write or Set button*, then shutdown & restart.

* = Varies depending on p2ktools version

Why is one phone outer-lcd fliped to upside and other one is downside :S

That's because it is. Still got the 'MADE IN CHINA' sticker and protective sticker on the front.

Btw, how do I do this with P2KTools? I want it to say the default Motorola, instead of ROGERS? What I type in the P2KTools?

In P2kTools click on 'Tools' in the upper menu select 'External LCD' check the 'enable external lcd when flip is open' Click 'Set' Restart phone!

Will that show the Motorola text and the Motorola logo though???

It will if the seem for that is enabled. Otherwise it will just show as Motorola.

i have another question, is it possible to have the motorola icon and different text other than "Motorola". Or is it a picture file, and if it is, is there any way to find where it is located?

on the v265 should it show the symbol or not. Because before i tried this i had already edited the verizon wireless banner to say "motorola" so im not sure if it is actually chagning or not.

You can have it say Motorola but you have to do the Seem edit to get the 'M' logo.

well when i hit upload seem on p2kman it doesn't ask me which to upload. Is there any other tools i can use to upload a seem?

In P2kman enter the seem you want to upload hit the 'Upload' button and select from where you have it on your PC.

yeah i think i have an older version of p2kman and when i hit upload it doesn't allow me to select the file to upload. Also can you tell me where i can get the new p2kman or is it against the forum rules?

Get a copy at motomodders you will have to register but it is free.

hmmm that didn't work either.... I hit upload and it just uploads but doesn't let me choose a file

Try Bezols's P2kTools also from motomodders.

Read the Seem from the phone change the bit load the seem and restart.
