V3 Razr newbie

hi Guys,
just got delivery of my Razr, bought from Cingular WITHOUT a contract and on top of this the customer service provided a Subsidy Password with no problem!
Anyway, I want to get rid of the obtrusive Cingular branding - then I found this site with all kinds of mods for geting the video, making it faster etc etc.
So, I have MPT and a USB data cable - where do I start?
Is there a beginners guide on how to get started with modding this phone? I am computer savvy but no experience hacking phones.

Don't feel bed. Three months ago I had never heard of hacking a phone.
Start reading all the stickies and guides here and on www.motomodders.net in the knowledge section. Make sure you register.
