I am looking at getting either a sidekick 2 or a blackberry and am not really sure which would be my best bet.

I am only going to use it for the data functionality. I like the prepay with the sidekick but am not sure if that is my best option.

What advise do you have?

Also, with the blackberry is there any difference between the 7230 and 7290 beyond the 7290 having bluetooth?

Depends, I like a lot of the functionality on the sidekick, but the childish look and feel of both the hardware and software put me off. size is also very different. Go see, hold and demo them both I would recomend.

it depends what you are using it for. if you are using the phone for business, get the blackberry. if not, sidekick.
