If you'd like to use Google Maps on your Blackberry please visit www.freek.ca and download the HelloWorld Map Browser.

There are two version one for BES users and the other one for TCP/WAP connections.

Now you can enjoy Google Maps from your blackberry device. Never be lost again.

HelloWorld Browser 2.0.5 has been released, use Google Maps on your Blackberry

- you can now search for directions
- read written directions and zoom to any interesection

Just wanted to say that this app came in handy when I was in Kansas City for a weekend on my motorcycle. Helped me get around town on the bike, where you don't really have the opportunity to read printed directions.

I can't say that I like it being ShareWare though.

I wasn't able to get this to work on my 7250 with Bell Mobility. It couldn't communicate...
I'm not on BES, and yes, I installed the non-BES version.

Works great on my 7250 (TELUS). Bell still has not fully enabled TCP/IP and MDS (with BES) yet. Perhaps this is the reason that it is not working.

It won't work on the Bell 7250 because it doesn't support the TCP/IP stack. Unless of course you're on a BES.
