How to get Activesynch w/ BT to work with MPX220

I can't seem to get AS to cooperate and allow a COM port less than COM11. I want to set up AS to communicate with my MPX to synch outlook, etc. Where does one find the best information on this? Thanks.

Your COM port has to be a low number, there is no way around it unless you install ActiveSync 4.0. clik on the link to my Windows Mobile Blog, and you will find instructions on manually lowering your COM ports. The majority of the instructions are for the Widcomm drivers (not sure if you are using them or not) but the manually lowering COM port numbers in device manager works for any BT stack.
