I thought this was Motorola Software needed. I'm not looking for illegal software. Just trying to be able to get Opera on my V3 and red here on the forums I need this software.

If you read through the whole thread, you would have also read about downloading it via wap site (hope it is still open). It is so much easier than meddling with the programs.

I tried the WAP. It doesn't work unfortunately.
