I'm surprised that with all the SE users on here, there's still no wallpaper thread. I'm a recent transfer from the Moto section, and those wallpaper threads are long as heck...so I thought we should start one here too...

I know there are a lot of walls on the sites in the K750 sticky, but one can never have too many walls in his / her collection!

(oh, and for those who just wanna browse for walls, you can check out meogee.com, esato.com, the moto forum here, etc. etc.)

Well its propably because on SE phones you use complete themes rather than just a wallpaper, because unlike motos, SE has a very good themingsupport with easy to use themeeditor and easy theme transfer/applying

With the amount of good themes around, modifying every screen of the phone, a wallpaper that only changes the first screen and may not fit in style to the rest of the screens, isnt quite as interesting.

Isn't the wallpaper supposed to be 176x176 since the top and bottom will be covered by the top and bottom toolbar. When I make wallpapers for my T637 I make them 128x127 so that I know that what will be shown and not cropped off.

just a quick question...when i use the SE image editor..i have that little red cropping tool to move around and select the part of a pic that i want as a wallpaper..
when i transfer them to my phone..they're SO BLURRY!..

best thing to do is just search and save some to ur harddrive
then just use adobe photoshop to resize them to the desired size..

just realized that the aspect ratio for the 176 x 220 screens is 5: 4 unlike 320 x 240's 4:3.

Most of the walls in the moto forum will work fine as they are mostly 176x220 as well, also there are links to forums in peoples sigs too, though you never know what you will find in those!

just search "freeware image editor" i ngoogle - I'm sure you won't have too many probs finding something. I use Paint Shop Pro (an older version free of a cover cd)

This pic hasn't been resized, mostly because I dont know how, but it views perfectly on my new w600i, not full screen but a good size. Have many more of this guy, let me know and i'd be happy to post.

Btw, would anybody happen to know the screen size dimensions for the w600i?
And any good programs to get a pic to that size?
