sidekick with rogers

i recently asked if i could use this phone under rogers in the rogers forum and they told me not to bother with it. I was just wondering what you guys here in the danger forum think. Is it possible? or should i just give up?

If you want to carry around a brick that can only make calls and send text messages..and don't want to sync data, surf or email.
Then sure, go for it.
Otherwise, don't waste your time.
