Actually there guys its for agents too. How else would I have known the link. Oh yeah. Got a visit from one of the Cingular reps who handles the agents. Gave us all the paperwork on it. Sorry to burst your bubble.

They must have changed it to allow corp in on it also.. At the last meeting I was told by the SE Rep it was open to Agents only..

My markets not eligible, their probably doing ours later, which is fine for me. Theres no way I'm selling 40 z500's in 3 weeks.

There's no way I would sell 40 Z500's in 2 months...... too much of a headache....

I wonder why the contest isnt tiered like the old SE contest, where different markets have to meet different requirements.

It will be highly unlikely that someone in Utah will have the same amount of opps as someone in N.Y

Mayube thats the reason why all markets arent involved

because the phone doesn't work well in my market and I don't want to deal with the customer exchanges and issues just to get a free phone...... not worth it....

did anyone else get the shaft on this one? I got an E-mail from my manager(forwarded from the RM) about 2 weeks ago saying that the contest was extended to the end of the month. when I went to log a phone on the 16th, low and behold the contest ended. I needed 4 more phones to get the W600, had I known that the contest was ending I would have pushed much harder for Z500s on Migs and ups. I really feel like I got the shaft on this one. It may just be a cold day in hell before I sell another of their crappy phones! let me know if anything like this happened to anyone else, or if it's just NY that got shafted.

If you read the website it clearly states that anyone with 2 bars was bumped up to 3 and anyone with 4 bars was bumped to 5 so if you already had 4 bars you got lucky and have 5 anyway.... Make sense?

hahaha... awesome. yeah, I saw that. the phone I sold on the 16th would have made 4 bars! I had 23 Z500s and 5 S710s. since the bars couldn't be combined. maybe I'll win a W600 as a door prize at the training this week, and it'll soften my heart towards Sony

ok, now I guess I gotta pull my foot out of my mouth. I sent an Email explaining the situation to whatever Email address they had listed on the contest page, and within a few hour recieved a response asking me to send back the IMEI and phone # for the last phone. Today I get another Email telling me that the issue has been resolved. I check the page again, and now I have 4 bars and a W600... Sony's pretty cool after all!

I've been loving my Z520 for the last month or so, but on the way out to my car after work, I opened it and had white lines accross the screen

.

Luckily, XBM replaced it (as an aside, the rep said "do you work for cingular" because I guess I sounded a little too familiar with the process).

Not a big deal, I guess it comes with getting the first batch of a particular phone.

YES THEY CAN TRACK YOUR SHIPMENT, JUST GIVE THEM YOUR ADRESS. IT WORKED FOR ME AND MY 3 CO WORKERS. THEY SAID I WOULD RECIEVE IT BY 4:30 TODAY AND I RECIEVED IT AT ABOUT 3:00.

this phone sucks. i really dont like it. when talking on it, it doesnt feel natural. it just feels wierd. it feels horrible when it's closed, but when i open it it gets a lil better, but not much. i have a 30gb ipod, i dont need a phone that has room for only 55 songs. all my calls break up and its never clear. i thought this phone would be sweet, but imo it sucks balls.
