How to check s710a Firmware

Just got my ATTWS s710a (NBO account, cingular label, but ATTWS mMode etc)

How do I check the firmware? The usual instruction, starting with a right joystick move, just opens up mMode.

I did this, and stopped paying attention to the fact that the mmode screen came up:

Right key (from front navigation pad)
*
Left key
Left Key
*
Left key
*

after that select Service Info from menu --> then select Software Info -->

Which button is the " * " ? Is it the centre button in the nav pad?
