Hi to all Sharp 902 owners, i've had my 902 for exactly one month now and i have no regrets. It's in perfect condition no scratches at all

I just wanted to know if you could silence the camera shutter 'CU CH' sound because it gets annoying. I took over 200 pictures whilst in Canada, yet i still couldn't find a way to take it off.

You CANNOT turn off the shutter sound.

yes... it's a shame, but not even in silence mode you can shut it off...

the reason is that in Japan people were using them to secretly take pics up peoples skirts on stairs and escalators etc, so if they always make noise it is harder to get away with.

The people who do that are perverts who often target young school girls.
If your 14 your old daughter or sister, suffered this kind of 'assault' would you laugh?

They should be locked up !!! Criminal offences are not so funny,

I read something about that. The person escaped the original charge, but then got charged with someithng different, such as public nuisance.

I am not a dude,

I have no need to laugh about such things, because I have treated victims of these kinds of things.

I am totally calm and I laugh massively about genuinely funny things.

So please grow up, I guess you don't see the implications of taking photo's up unsuspecting women's skirts....
