for corp reps, go to csp and you'll find a direct link to get the info needed. there are probably tons of people like us, who are currently unable to work and with our pays, could use some of our help as fellow cingular employees. heck, some of them probably have kids and such and could use it.

actions speak louder than words.i know, therefore im sending them $250. cingulars going to match it, so i'd be sending them $500. it isnt much, but if its enough to save a life or two to me its worth it, and if we all pitched in atleast $50, that be quite a bit.

so come on corporate sales reps. lets help out fellow sales reps and such down there. i dont know how agents can help so thats why i excluded you all.

i know how it is to being in a situation like this. only difference is that the local govt in the country i was is in the stone ages compared to the us. i had to drink dirty water from a river which had cholera to survive with my families. took us a week to even get out.

I'd like to donate, but unfortunately, it's not really an option for me. My whole check is disappearing as soon as it comes in lately...between fixing my car, gas, boarding/feeding my horse, insurance, etc etc...I'm broke.

If you want to donate you will find a way, give up lunch for a day or two. you don't have 250.00 like Alfred just give what you can it all makes a difference. one dollar at a time it will become a million before too long, one dollar at a time.

Alfred Kudo to you young man, you are making a difference.I am sure your parent would be proud to know they did a good job raising you.

To make your tax deductible donation to the Cingular Cares Disaster Relief Fund, please send a check payable to BellSouth Pioneer Disaster Relief Fund - Cingular to:

Cingular Cares Disaster Relief Fund
2793 SE Monroe
Stuart, FL 34997

Cingular will match gifts of $10 or more. To register your donation for a matching gift please go to www.givingprograms.com/cingular. If you have never visited the site before, you will need to register before you login using your employee ID (legacy orange) or AWID (legacy blue). Your CUID will not work.

Legacy blue employees can find their AWID by going to the AWE Intranet and looking themselves up in the People Locator.
Legacy orange employees can find their employee ID by logging into My-Cingular and looking themselves up in the Locator. Your Employee ID will be listed near the bottom of your record.
If you have questions about the donation please call -- 888-388-6282.

In times of crisis, it it crucial for everyone to come together. However, monetary compensation is not required by all. Although every little bit helps, for the people who do not have the means to donate their hard earned $$$, these same people can also donate their TIME. Volunteers are needed at the red cross right now.

A question though.....as a customer, would you be mad if Cingular took $0.10 from your monthly bill next month? Why? Think about it. $0.10 from the 50 million customers Cingular has......its still a $5000000 donation....

Also, why can't Cingular forgo its regulatory fee imposed to customers for one month and donate THAT to the relief fund. Everyone knows that Cingular will continue to charge this fee on customers until the FCC tells them to stop. We all know its another source of revenue and income for the company. Why not just donate THAT to the fund?

Give up lunch for a day or two? I bring my lunch most days...and when I don't, my gf brings me lunch from her house.

It's beyond my means right now, unfortunately.

It truley does suck for those people down there. Just got my financial aid check (the surplus left over after all your costs have been covered).

500 dollars on it's way...unfortunately since I'm not corp. it won't be matced by Cingular.

I found on CSP that we could arrange for pre-tax donations to be taken out of our paychecks. I signed up for this. You can do either a recurring donation or a one-time donation. I keep hearing that every little bit helps, so I sent some money.

Everyone should be doing SOMETHING to help. I've lived through three natural disasters. 2 tornados and 1 earthquake. I know what its like to loose everything.

Please do what you can to help.
