I thought many people, including IHAP said we aren't getting it. I will pick it up when it is $199 with contract.

i think this will b the next must have phone like the v3 was for moto i think this will b it for nokia. so now how all moto phones r starting to look like the v3 now all nokia phones will look like this. pretty cool it looks small i though it b huge.

Click Here for the measurements. It is really a very small phone. I think it looks cooler than the razr whose wide-body proportions never did appeal to me. Of course, cleaning fingerprints will be a full time occupation. But I still want one. Being hip ain't always easy....

i just dont think (personal opinion based of others who have high high sources) Cingular will get it.

is it just me or is any one else bothered by the 3 hr talk time? It is less than half of what they say the SE 710A says they get. I realize what each manufacturer says and what the user gets can differ but 3 hours seems like not much. Why would they not have put more into this aspect?

Just wondering what others think.

Oh, read the PC mag review in the link I posted above. It is clearly not a "great" phone. In many ways it's a throwback in terms of performance. But it sure does look good. A significant number of us non-geeks only use phones to call friends and text message (Gasp!. And there's been nothing really new for the candy-bar crowd. If this hits before the Moto Slvr, it will be a hot seller. We will want it just for the looks. Shallow? Yes! Ashamed? No!

I for one would love to see this phone on Cingular just for the fact that I could save a few bucks buying it from them and re-upping my contract.

I like this phone too...but from the posts I've seen here, I doubt Cingular will get it...but if they do, I'll be saving my pennies for it

Well, there isnt a big logo on the RAZR. Just Cingular written on the back in small letters with jack.

If its on the metal, it'll be very easy to scratch off.

alrighty then!

yeah, the edge of a nickel got the logo off my old T610. i was only concerned that the 8801 is really a sculpture and it would be a shame to stick a logo on it. no biggie.
