I am getting a new phone and i was wondering which phone is better, the LG VX8100 or the UTstarcom/Audiovox 8940. I need a phone that has pretty good battery life, bluetooth, good call quality (thats what a phone is made for right???) and EV-DO. Any help??

My boyfriend has the 8940 and I have the 8100. The 8100 has Bluetooth (8940 does not) and both have EvDO. My battery appears to last *days* longer, but he always gets 1-2 bars signal strength that I do. I hope this helps!

I have the 8940. Here's a very quick review. Battery life is only "fair" with the standard battery, but very good with the extended battery. Weak signal strength seems to drain the battery fast. If you have good coverage though, it will last for days, even with use. The phone itself works very well. sound quality is very good on both ends. The speakerphone is totally useless. The camera is pretty good.

It's a must for the LGVX8100...I am an audiovox fan using the CDM9900 but with those 2 phones to choose from the 8100 will blow the 8940 AWAY!!!

i got at least 7 hours with my mp3 on the 8940 w/ a lil talkin like 10 mins at least
