I ripped a few dvd's using an unmentioned encoder. How the heck do I get these things on my phone? I can copy over Mp3's, docs, anything.. But, whenever I try to hotsync an avi it hangs, then comes back and says my connection to my desktop was lost... Am I missing something here?

Thanks for any help...

Just copy them into an SD card and pop it into the phone afterward.

Copy them onto the card with a memory card reader. and used TCPMP
to play them

I copied them to my sd card with a card reader, and it seems like it corrupts the files when they get sent over. But, if I only copy one movie to it, it plays fine. If I copy more then one, it corrupts. Any ideas??
