My Sidekick which was given to me wont start it stays off and when i plug in the charger it wontdo anything and while in the charger i pressed the reset button and nothing happens so i took it to tmobile and the guy there said he dosen't know what it is but it has also been off for about 2-3 months if that makes a difference can someone help me...PLEASE....

do you have a t mobile acct cause if you do and its a sidekick call t mobile and tell them you want to put insurance on your phone then wait for 2 weeks and call them back and tell them its not working thell charge you 70.00 dollars

i dont i was going to get the pre paid but 70.00 bucks for a new sounds good considering it was free. can i get insurace with pre paid?

No, but if they activate it considering the IMEI is not stolen it will have warranty on it. If they find it to be reported as an insurance claim(previous user) it will not be activated. Basically any sidekick has warranty out right now, considering it was released a year ago(sept). If you send it in, and they find that there's no physical damage they may give you a new one for free, if they find any damage it will but an out of warranty fee of $70.

it has damage cuz someone that had it before look like it was tried to be open but failed and im going to try to sell it if i cant fix it.

How much you want for it? I'll pay a fair price for a broken SK2. If you send it back to tmo with case damage like that they're going to charge you 3 bills for a new device - warranty and out-of-warranty fees don't apply.
